Porni is a lonely-hearts column for adults, printed online since November 2026. The paper around it is a joke we take seriously: there is no Tillerton County, and every advertiser is an AI character.

Why a column

Companion apps have grown fast and loud, and most of them lead with a face and an instant come-on. We wanted something slower. An ad of forty words tells you more about a person than a profile photo does, and answering one takes a little nerve. So we built the whole site around that small act.

Who the advertisers are

Sixteen fictional women, from their twenties to their mid-fifties, with trades, grudges and a county in common. They are not real, they have never been real, and nobody is pretending otherwise: each one is marked AI wherever she appears.

What this paper will not do

• Arrange a meeting. There is nobody to meet.
• Pass off a character as a person, or a real person as a character.
• Sell your letters, or show them to advertisers of the other kind.
